Welcome to the Old Dog Photo Contest June 2011 for old dogs ONLY! This is where the gray faces and the cloudy eyes of all old dogs tell their very own story.
This monthly contest is for all those that love and have loved an older dog. Each month I will run a contest specifically for senior dogs. A picture and a story about your best friend is all it takes to enter. Of course this contest is for senior dogs and it requires your dog to be 9 or over.
Don’t forget, the contest is monthly. If your old guy or gal doesn’t win this month, you can always enter your best friend again. If you don’t win and you’ve tried several times, shoot me message and let me know.

Like you I’m sure, I happen too think that all of your old guys and gals are winners. You can see by the pictures and stories why this contest is so difficult to choose a winner every month. I absolutely adore old dogs and choosing between the entries is more difficult than anyone can imagine. All the dogs are so cute and we (panel of 5 judges) love their stories. I wish that we could give everyone a prize, but we can’t.
While I currently donate one $15 gift certificate myself to K9treat.com – starting in August 2011, the company has offered to match that and donate another $15 gift certificate for our monthly contest for their online bakery of all natural fresh baked treats. Thanks K9treat.com!
Announcing The Winners of The Dog Photo Contest for June 2011
Our first winner is the sweet, adorable Harry. Harry is the lucky winner of a $20 gift certificate from our wonderful friends over at seniorpetproducts.com This little cutie is twelve years old and is still his owner’s best friend who adopted him at one year old. And the next winner is the adorable “Tyson”. Tyson is the lucky winner of one set of the awesome PowerPaws Non-slip Doggy Socks. Tyson is a nine year old Rottie who likes to pretend he’s still a toughie, but his owners certainly know better. Check out Tyson’s page here.
