Janie I am a friend of Carol Iorio and she told me to contact you with a few questions. My dog has some skin issues and licking. We just switched her to Taste of the wild dog food. I was given a list of dog treats to buy that are grain and poultry free having a hard time finding them. Can you suggest any treats that are in that catergory that i can find locally? Thanks looking foward to hear from you

Hi Janice and Percy:
Thank you so much for really kind words Janice. I'm so glad that you enjoy my blog. I'm glad to hear that you are a RESCUE fan - that's so important when there are so, so many dogs that need homes.

Please give Percy lots of hugs from me o.k. :o

Hi Holly:
It's so nice to hear from you. Thank you so much for your kind words and I felt the same way when I was reading your blog. Like you, I also have a regular website as well http://www.old-dog-treats-and-rawhide.com where you can find an abundance of information. My 10 best dog food list seems to be very popular with many dog owners.

You offer some really neat and cool doggie products on your site. I particularly liked that fleece body suit your dobie was wearing. I might have to invest in one of those for Jenna. I will be sure to go through you in the event that you are an affiliate. I will add your blog to my blog roll too for all those dog agility enthusiasts out there.

My interview with the great dane lady was 5 hours long and we covered a good bit of information. The issue of raised bowls is a topic we discuss in regards to bloat, because dog owners are lead to believe that they are bad (not true).

I don't know much about root canals in dogs Holly, I wish I could say that I did. Here is a nice article from a Vet's point of view on root canals, however, I would highly recommend researching a little more and getting other dog owners points of view as well. A vet is going to tell you that it's absolutely necessary; my thought is - it depends where the tooth is and how much it will really impact his chewing, etc. if you have it removed.

You're very welcome and I will be stopping by on occasion to visit Lucas.
Janie :o

Hi Janie,
This is Holly from the Much About The Mutt Blog. You have wonderful information on your blog. A lot of good reading is ahead of me.

I added your blog address to my blog list. I want others to know about you valueable information'

I'm also looking forward to the bloat interview with the Great Dane Lady. I have never had a dog with bloat, but I am always worried. I know a few things on prevention, but that is all. This is a subject that I don't hear much about from vets or in my circle of agility dog friends.

BTW, what do you know about root canals for dogs? Lucas bottom canine tooth has worn down / chipped, to the point some nerves are exposed. The vet said I could either have it pulled or have a root canal.
I haven't a chance to research this yet and wanted to see if you knew anything?

Thank you,
Holly
